Bill Signed Into Law by Governor

Texas Foster Youth, Inc. has been working closely with Senator Uresti of San Antonio to get a Bill of Rights passed for Texas’s Foster Youth. I am now pleased to say that the bill has been signed into law by the governor. You may take a look at the bill by Clicking Here. This is a very important day for foster youth all around the State of Texas. We all did our part and together we made this bill of rights become a reality. Every Foster Youth, currently in care and those who are to come in the future can rest assured knowing they have rights and that they are protected.
